This interactive movie course is taught by Gary Schwartz, MD. He helps the therapist "evaluate" that preplexing patient. Dr. Schwartz will point out areas of concern in the forearm, wrist, hand and fingers. He will give you insight to Missed Diagnosis of the Upper Extremity. Note: This course provides conceptual preparation to seek additional training, and does not provide you a mentored hands-on skills session. Please seek additional experience, with a mentor, to perform hands-on skills.
Objectives:
Identify cardinal signs of compartment syndrome
Identify reasons for elbow contractures
Describe different forearm and metacarpal fractures
