In this hour the anatomy and effects of the sympathetic nervous system is introduced as well as a discussion on respiratory alkalosis and the effects on our physiology. Discussion of sub-optimal breathing patterns and the multitude of dysfunctions that can be related to it will be presented such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, chronic pelvic and non cardiac chest.
Identify how altered breathing patterns can alter pH and how this can affect the body.
